PTV - New Horizons
A Pakistan Television program series on the issues of working women: This program, hosted by Dr. Fouzia Saeed, dealt with social issues that women in a particular profession faced. The series included women from the police, nursing, electronic media, radio, factories etc. They all talked about the family issues related to their jobs, sexual harassment and discrimination at work and struggles of promotion within their fields. Dr. Fouzia Saeed, a social activist from Pakistan, hosts a program on family issues. The program deals with simple issues that come up within the family members, like communication, husband and wife tensions, sibling rivalries, dowry, power struggles with in-laws etc. A family situation is shown where the conflict is defined. This is followed by a discussion that she facilitates between the family members and the audience present in the studios.
